Who can forget the terrible images of people fleeing across the mountains to escape the
fighting in Kosovo. Following a call from our partners in the region, and thanks to the British Air Force,
Eurovangelism was able to send one of the first Aid shipments to help the refugees. Eurovangelism was also
able to respond to calls for help from Bosnia and Serbia as Yugoslavia disintegrated and descended into war.
Since it began, our EuroAid project has helped those suffering from the effects of the Armenia earthquake,
the Chernobyl disaster and countless other crises across the region.

In order to meet the many needs in their communities, our partners in eastern Europe need food, clothing, medicines,
hygiene products, furniture and other equipment to distribute. In the twelve months leading up to 31st March 2004,
EuroAid was able to send them physical aid worth almost three quarters of a million pounds.
