Harvest for the Hungry

Since 1993 hundreds of schools, churches, organisations and individuals in Britain have taken the opportunity to celebrate Harvest time by helping those who are struggling to survive in Eastern Europe through our Harvest for the Hungry project.

The project is very simple. Select how you want to help from the following options:

1. Fill a Family Food Parcel

At Harvest time get your church, school, or group to fill the boxes we provide with the specified food items and then take them to one of the many depots located around the country. Our volunteers will then load all the food parcels onto a truck which will then start the long journey across the continent to deliver them to the poorest areas of Eastern Europe.

2. Sponsor a Food Parcel

A gift of just £10 will enable our partners to buy food locally which has the advantages of supporting the local economy, saves on transport costs and allows our partners to buy dairy products and meat which we cannot put in a box from the UK because of customs restrictions.
