Taking the Message Outside of the Church

Church planter Stoyan Angelov in Bulgaria has been regularly holding ‘movie evenings’ at the church he oversees in Boliarovo. Here he shows Christian films and local Christians share their testimonies, which is a great encouragement to the church members. Now, Stoyan would like to use such evenings to reach out to non-Christians more.
In order to show Christian films outside of the church building Stoyan needs special permission each time from the local government. When he has done this before it has been a long and difficult process, but it has been worth it because the films have been well attended.
- Give thanks that this film ministry has been an effective means of reaching people with the gospel.
- Pray for people in the church at Boliarovo to take on the task of inviting local people along to film nights, welcoming them and helping them enjoy their church visit.
- Pray that Stoyan’s requests to show films outside of the church will be granted without any long delays.
