Fundraising
There are many ways to get involved in fundraising for our partners in Europe.
Supporters near Weston Super Mare have held a quiz night with food, giving the proceeds to a project they wanted to support in Romania. Others have taken part in a half marathon, gaining sponsorships for their favoured project. Coffee and cake mornings, sponsorship events, and jumble sales are just a few of the things you could do as an individual or a group to raise funds for a project or church worker of your choice.
You can also fundraise at your Harvest Festival Service or Assembly, using resources that we provide to help you on your way. It's a great way to raise funds to feed those living on the edge. Retired Teacher Ray successfully completed the London Marathon, despite feeling unwell up to and during the race.
Ray has nearly reached his ambitious target of £100 per mile, totalling £2,620. All of the money is contributing to our Harvest for the Hungry Appeal.
Congratulations Ray, thank you very much for all your hard work and please go to Ray's Just Giving Page to help him reach his final total.
