Alpha in Hungary

Tamas and Tunde Kormos in Hungary have written asking for prayer for the upcoming Regional Alpha Training Conference on the 13th May (taking place in Gyor).

Please pray:-
- that they will have representatives from all denominations.
- for anointing for the lecturers, small group leaders, worship team and all ministers.
- for blessed fellowship, breaking barriers between denominations.
- that Alpha courses would start or continue as a result, demonstrating the love of God to the local communities.

Tamas and Tunde also report: Praise the Lord for the first Youth Alpha Conference in (Cluj) Romania, where about 70 youth leaders and pastors attended.
Praise the Lord for his work in these young people, and pray that their enthusiasm will be retained.

Update on Flood Situation in Serbia

Daniel Kuranji has written to us again about the floods in Serbia and reports that many people in Novi Sad (where he and wife, Vera, live) are now homeless. Large areas of fields are under water, making sowing impossible. Many homes and buildings have been damaged and will need repairs when the water finally ebbs.

Please pray that the floods will recede soon and that the damage will be minimal, so that people can resume their daily lives as quickly as possible.
