Praise the Lord for Montenegro!

Thank you to all of you who prayed for the conference being held in Montenegro at the beginning of December. Jovica Bacvanski has written to us and says:

The body of Christ in Montenegro (which means three Evangelical churches and a few groups of believers from different places) came together and we had a wonderful conference in Niksic, the second biggest town in Montenegro.

The important thing is: 5 years ago there was only 30-40 believers in the whole country and this time, 9th of December, there were about 150 people.
What can I say , but Praise be to the Lord, who multiplied us!

Please continue to pray for us, for we are going to start some good things in the town of Niksic.

Prayer for Albania

Please pray for Mission Possible in Albania and Director, Besa Shapllo (pictured above with husband, Agron) as they begin their second phase of the project in Bathore (on the outskirts of Tirana). Four new Alpha courses are starting (with about 100 people at each), with a further course due to start soon for men only.

The food programme for the elderly is now prepared for and is due to start on the 20th December - pray that this will go well and that those in need of food will be able to get to the Hope Centre to enjoy food and fellowship.

Please pray especially for Besa at this very busy time of year, and for Agron, her husband, who is currently ill.

Thank you!

New Christians in Sombor, Serbia

Greg and Jelena Sivulka have just finished running an Alpha Course at their church in Sombor, Serbia, and tell us that five people have given their lives to Jesus as a result. Please pray for these new believers:-

- To continue to stay in fellowship through coming regularly to the church meetings, cell groups, etc.

- To withstand persecution, pressure, etc. that has started from their loved-ones, friends, etc.

- To continue to walk closely with the Lord in their own personal devotional times.

- To begin to share their new faith boldly with others.

Students in Macedonia

We have received an email from Nikola Galevski who you may recall reading about in the October / November 2006 Euronews. Nikola is busy as ever trying to increase the Student Movement in Macedonia, and is organising a winter conference to try and get more students on board! Nikola is pictured above (right) with Kosta Milkov, outside the town centre building they wish to purchase to run the student ministry from.

Nikola has the following prayer requests:-

- Major spiritual break-through in Macedonia.
- Funds to purchase the space for the student ministry.
- Funds for the Winter Conference.

Thank you for your prayer support - it is very much appreciated by Nikola and the Student Ministry.
