Mission Possible Bulgaria in Fakulteta

Fakulteta is a suburb of Sofia, home to a large gypsy community who live in massive poverty. Mission Possible Bulgaria opened a soup kitchen for the children of this community in the winter of 2004, but today they are in desperate need of a volunteer to help serve the food.

At present, an elderly lady goes along every day to make soup and cut bread, but help is needed to encourage the children to wash their hands, serve them soup and generally keep control of the proceedings! About 50 children go along, making every lunchtime a noisy and chaotic event!

Please pray that a volunteer will be found to go along every day and help in this extremely worthy project.

Prayer Request from Maca in Serbia

Maca Turner in Sombor, Serbia, spends many hours visiting people, helping run Alpha courses and witnessing to everyone she meets. She has written to us with the following prayer requests:

"Please continue to pray for me and my ministry. Pray that I would have a lot more opportunities to share my faith and that people would be open to listen. Please continue to pray for our church, too. We have started studying the book of Acts and are learning a lot about the Holy Spirit. We really need more of His power in our church!!! A lot of people have seemed to cool down in a negative way in their relationship with the Lord and sometimes it really gets us down. Pray for more wisdom and strength for us that are serving this church (me, Greg, Jelena, Zoli, Tanya, etc.) to know what to do and how to better serve them."
