Summer Camp in Croatia

Danijel and Eva Mrsic of Split, Croatia have written to us with the following prayer requests:-

June 30- July 7: Children's summer camp (51 children and 23 adults). We have never had so many children. Pray for protection and God’s anointing on the whole program. If you would like to sponsor a child to attend the camp, we would be thankful. The cost for the transport and camp for one child is 130 USD.

July 15: Water baptism of 12 new believers at Cetina river. Pray for them in their growth.

July 16 - 21: Youth and young adults’ working camp in Lika. Pray for productivity and provision.

Sep. 11 - 15: Pastoral conference in Zagreb for all Balkan countries. Pray for the preparation.

Emanuel Hospice in Oradea, Romania

Marinela Murg, Director of the Hospice has recently graduated with a Masters (pictured). She has written to us with the following prayer requests:

"One hospice patient wanted to discuss the issue of salvation and baptism ... another one, a girl from the children's hospice, hopes to be baptised when she finishes her chemotherapy. We praise God for His work in the life of these two people and pray that God will be their Lord and will continue to bless their lives."

"One of our colleagues may be leaving, please pray that God will guide her and her family, and also that God will bring the right person into the team as a replacement."

Kosta Milkov from Macedonia recovering from accident

Kosta Milkov (Pictured with wife, Nada), one of our partners in Macedonia (who is currently studying in Oxford), wrote to us with some prayer requests regarding his ongoing recovery after being knocked after a bicycle in March 2007.

"I would appreciate your prayers for:

- The recovery of my concentration
- For complete recession of the swollenness and the numbness in my face
- Full functionality of the left wrist
- For being able to continue my newspaper delivery job"

Kosta is particularly concerned about his concentration levels as he is at a crucial stage of studying for his PhD.

Events in Croatia

We have received an email from Danijel and Eva Mrsic in Split, Croatia, asking for prayer for a number of events they have planned for the summer months. They write:

We appreciate your prayers for this summer's events:

- a day gathering with pastors from other Split churches and cities at the FOCUS camp site (June 9)
- gospel concert in downtown Split square by a USA gospel choir (June 14 and 1 5)
- children's missions trip to Bosnia, to visit a family we are supporting (June 23)
- children's summer camp (June 30- July 7).
- water baptism of 12 brothers and sisters at Cetina river (July 15)
- youth camp (July 16-21)
- pastoral conference in Zagreb for all Balkan countries (Sep. 11-15)
