The fall of communism across Eastern Europe brought with it a sense of hope, freedom and opportunity. Unfortunately, it also brought about an end to security, a roof over your head and guaranteed employment. Today, the gap between rich and poor continues to grow in many of these transition countries, and those unable to find jobs or gain state benefits are quite literally struggling to survive.
Local churches and social care organisations who see the desperate plight of so many living in poverty are keen to help, demonstrating God's love as they serve the poor. We partner with them by providing the necessary resources they would otherwise be unable to afford.
